Disability:in Delaware Launches Supplier Diversity Initiative

Updated: Aug 27, 2019

Wilmington, DE (December 28, 2018) Disability:IN Delaware (formerly DEBLN) is launching a Supplier Diversity initiative designed to improve the disability supply chain in Delaware.

The program is modeled after the well-established Disability:IN (formerly USBLN) Supplier Diversity initiative; the the leading third-party national certification of disability owned businesses and veterans with disabilities (service and non-service related).

The Supplier Diversity Program will provide Delaware based disability owned companies with a two-year certification, increased opportunity for nationwide expansion, networking and business matching opportunities; and resources related to bids and procurement. Participating corporations will have a vehicle to further diversify their supply chain resources, online access to certified businesses, and the ability to meet or exceed regulatory obligations. Disability owned businesses interested in certification and companies in need of supply chain or diversification resources are encouraged to contact Disability:IN Delaware.

The Delaware Supplier Diversity initiative was made possible due to the generous contribution of grant funds, resources and technical assistance from Wells Fargo and Disability:IN.

Disability:IN Delaware is one of fifty nationwide affiliates of Disability:IN whose shared mission is to empower business to achieve disability inclusion and equality. For more information contact Deborah.talley@gmail.com or 302.314.5070
